Het Marmoucha Orchestra is een groep virtuoze musici die moderne stijlen naadloos verweven met de rijke tradities uit de SWANA-regio (Zuidwest-Azië en Noord-Afrika) en het Middellandse Zeegebied. - Sonic Bridges met Mehdi Nassouli: Onze samenwerking met de Marokkaanse multi-instrumentalist Mehdi Nassouli werd door een internationale jury geselecteerd voor jazzahead! 2024—de grootste jazzbeurs ter wereld—een bewijs van onze internationale erkenning en muzikale impact.
- ‘Self Reflection’ van Arin Keshishi: Het debuutalbum van de artistieke leider van het orkest, Arin Keshishi, dat hij oorspronkelijk als soloalbum uitbracht, werd uitgevoerd met het Marmoucha Orchestra in het BIMHUIS en geselecteerd voor een optreden op het North Sea Jazz Festival 2024. De optredens ontvingen lovende kritieken. Dit project benadrukt zowel Arin’s artistieke diepgang als de veelzijdigheid van ons ensemble.

Chosen from over 800 submissions, this collaboration was celebrated for its unique sound and artistic value.
