At the occasion of its participation in the 27th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair, the Netherlands Institute in Morocco (NIMAR) invites you to the movie premiere of “Children of Al Andalus: A lost paradise in Morocco” on Friday 10 June at 20:30 at Cinéma Renaissance in downtown Rabat.

“Children of Al Andalus” is a documentary film that travels through centuries worth of history in a search for the heart and soul of the Andalus.

The film will be screened in its original version with English subtitles.

Free admission. First come, first served.

Dans le cadre des activités de l’Institut Néerlandais au Maroc, NIMAR organise la première projection du film documentaire Néerlando-Marocain “Children of Al Andalus : A lost paradise in Morocco”, le vendredi 10 juin 2022, à partir de 20:30 au Cinéma Renaissance, Rabat.

Le film suit le voyage du Hicham Ghalbane (photographie) et Rick Leeuwestein (récits) qui sont partis à la recherche de ces descendants au Maroc. Les deux ont photographié, filmé et interviewé plus de quarante Marocains andalous qui parlent du lien fort qu’ils ressentent encore avec l’empire légendaire.

Le film sera projeté en version originale sous-titrée en anglais.

Entrée libre à la limite des places disponibles.
