Kinderen uit het hele land hebben het afgelopen theaterseizoen gestemd op hun favoriete voorstellingen. Op basis van de uitgebrachte stemmen is een top 5 samengesteld van voorstellingen met de beste waardering. Wat vreet er aan Donnie Druif van MaxTak Muziektheater in coproductie met Marmoucha Orchestra is één van de genomineerde voorstellingen!
Wat vreet er aan Donnie Druif is een voorstelling vol betoverende livemuziek van Marmoucha Orchestra. Een verhaal over de pijn en onvoorwaardelijke liefde die familie geeft. Lees hier meer over de voorstelling.
Welke van de genomineerde voorstellingen de winnaar wordt, bepaalt de Podiumkids kinderjury. De jury bestaat uit negen kinderen tussen de 7 en 13 jaar. Zij hebben sinds oktober vorig jaar met veel enthousiasme zoveel mogelijk deelnemende voorstellingen, waaronder de vijf producties die de hoogste waardering kregen van het publiek.
Op 2 juli 2023 zijn de juryleden samengekomen en hebben zij onder leiding van theater- en dansjournalist Annette Embrechts vergaderd om te bepalen welke van deze voorstellingen zij het allerbeste vonden. Deze voorstelling wint de Podiumkids Prijs 2023: dé publieksprijs voor theater- dans- en muziekvoorstellingen voor kinderen van 6 tot en met 12 jaar.

Het is een close finish geworden, met twee grote favorieten, maar de kinderjury heeft na leuke discussies een winnaar gekozen uit de vijf genomineerden. De uiteindelijke winnaar wordt bekendgemaakt op het Jeugdtheatergala op Nederlands Theater Festival in september.
De Podiumkids Publieksprijs is de enige theaterprijs is die door een kinderjury wordt uitgereikt.

Podiumkids is een collectief van 24 professionele gezelschappen die theater-, muziek- en/of dansvoorstellingen maken voor kinderen van 2 tot en met 12 jaar. Gezamenlijk trekken ze op om jeugdtheater in Nederland te promoten. Op de website www.podiumkids.nl worden de voorstellingen onder de aandacht gebracht. Podiumkids is daarnaast organisator van de Podiumkids Prijs: dé publieksprijs voor theater- dans- en muziekvoorstellingen voor kinderen van 6 tot en met 12 jaar.
De Podiumkids Prijs wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door de Nederlandse Associatie voor Podiumkunsten (NAPK).
“Wat vreet er aan Donnie Druif?” has been nominated for the Podiumkids Audience Award 2023.
Children from all over the country have voted for their favorite shows during the past theater season. Based on the votes received, a top 5 has been compiled featuring the productions with the highest ratings. “What’s Eating Donnie Grape?” by MaxTak Music Theatre in collaboration with Marmoucha Orchestra is one of the nominated shows!

The winner of the Podiumkids Audience Award will be determined by the Podiumkids Children’s Jury. The jury consists of nine children between the ages of 7 and 13. Since October of last year, they have eagerly attended as many participating shows as possible, including the five productions that received the highest ratings from the audience.
On July 2, 2023, the jury members gathered and, under the guidance of theater and dance journalist Annette Embrechts, deliberated to determine which of these shows they considered the very best. This production will be awarded the Podiumkids Award 2023: the audience award for theater, dance, and music performances for children aged 6 to 12.

It has been a close finish, with two strong favorites, but the children’s jury has selected a winner after engaging discussions among themselves. The final winner will be announced at the Youth Theater Gala during the Nederlands Theater Festival in September.
The Podiumkids Audience Award is the only theater award presented by a children’s jury.

Podiumkids is a collective of 24 professional companies that create theater, music, and/or dance performances for children aged 2 to 12. Together, they work to promote youth theater in the Netherlands. The website www.podiumkids.nl showcases their productions and brings them to the attention of the public. Podiumkids also organizes the Podiumkids Award: the ultimate audience award for theater, dance, and music performances for children aged 6 to 12.
