Contrabasist
Daniele Cappucci is een contrabasist. Hij heeft samengewerkt met vele internationale artiesten, zoals Dick Halligan (Blood, Sweat and Tears), Fabrizio Bosso, Giulio Capiozzo, Flavio Boltro, Claudio Filippini, Israel Varela, Otmar Ruiz, Bob Sheppard, Diego Amador, Kamal Musallam, Maria Pia De Vito, de Lazio Regional Orchestra, Marcello Allulli, en heeft klassieke, jazz-, Arabische en flamencomuziek gespeeld. Hij is geboren in San Giovanni Rotondo (Italië) en heeft klassieke muziek gestudeerd aan het Conservatorium van Foggia, waar hij een diploma in basgitaar behaalde onder leiding van Maestro Massimiliano Mauthe. Vervolgens maakte hij de overstap naar jazz en begon hij te spelen in een bigband en combo. Hij heeft gestudeerd aan de Jazz University in New Orleans, het Columbia College of Chicago (waar hij een beurs heeft gewonnen), en Siena Jazz, waar hij een cursus heeft gevolgd voor het orkestproject “Civitas”. Gedurende zijn artistieke loopbaan heeft hij deelgenomen aan wedstrijden voor klassieke muziek en jazz, en uitstekende resultaten behaald. Hij heeft zijn vaardigheden verder ontwikkeld door te werken met Eddie Gomez, Paolo Dalla Porta, Vashon Johnson, Franco Petracchi, Steve La Spina, Cameron Brown, en Larry Granadier. Momenteel woont hij in Brussel, waar hij lesgeeft in instrumentale techniek en improvisatie. Hij heeft ook zijn afstuderen voltooid aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag.”
Daniele Cappucci is a doublebass. He has collaborated with numerous international artists, including Dick Halligan (Blood, Sweat and Tears), Fabrizio Bosso, Giulio Capiozzo, Flavio Boltro, Claudio Filippini, Israel Varela, Otmar Ruiz, Bob Sheppard, Diego Amador, Kamal Musallam, Maria Pia De Vito, the Lazio Regional Orchestra, and Marcello Allulli, and has performed classical, jazz, Arabic, and flamenco music. He was born in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy, and studied classical music at the Conservatory of Foggia, where he earned a degree in double bass under the guidance of Maestro Massimiliano Mauthe. He then transitioned to jazz and began playing in a big band and combo. He studied at the Jazz University in New Orleans, Columbia College of Chicago (where he received a scholarship), and Siena Jazz, where he took part in the “Civitas” orchestral project. Throughout his artistic career, he has participated in classical and jazz music competitions, achieving outstanding results. He further honed his skills by working with Eddie Gomez, Paolo Dalla Porta, Vashon Johnson, Franco Petracchi, Steve La Spina, Cameron Brown, and Larry Granadier. Currently residing in Brussels, he teaches instrumental technique and improvisation. He has also completed his studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
