Violiste
Julia Rusanovsky is geboren in Amsterdam. Op vierjarige leeftijd begon ze met het spelen van de viool en later werd ze toegelaten tot de afdeling Jong Talent van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In 2001 won Julia de eerste prijs op het SJMN-concours (Stichting Jong Muziektalent Nederland). Ze volgde ook vele masterclasses bij beroemde violisten zoals Maestro Vadim Brodsky, Maxim Vengerov, Shlomo Mintz en nog vele anderen.
Julia speelt graag recitals en in 2018 speelde ze solo in de recitalzaal van het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Naast solospelen is Julia zeer actief in de wereld van kamermuziek en orkestmuziek. Ze werkt als freelancer bij verschillende professionele orkesten in Nederland. Op dit moment treedt Julia actief op in Nederland en daarbuiten met haar familietrio, Trio Rusanovsky.
Samen met de bekende pianist, dirigent en eigenaar van het New Amsterdam Orchestra, Stephan Geusebroek, geeft Julia live-stream concerten als piano/viool duo. Ze heeft ook samengewerkt en muziek opgenomen met verschillende bekende Nederlandse zangers zoals Marco Borsato, Waylon Bijkerk, Gordon Heuckeroth en nog vele anderen. Je kunt Julia ook zien optreden op televisieprogramma’s zoals Holland’s Got Talent en verschillende tv-commercials.
Julia bespeelt een prachtige Italiaanse viool van Camilli uit 1738.
Julia Rusanovsky was born in Amsterdam. When she was four years old she started playing the violin and later she was admitted to the Young Talent department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. In 2001 Julia won the first prize at the SJMN concours (Stichting Jong Muziektalent Nederland). She also followed many masterclasses with famous violinists such as Maestro Vadim Brodsky, Maxim Vengerov, Shlomo Mintz and many more.
Julia loves to play recitals and in 2018 she played solo in the recital hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. In addition to soloing, Julia is very active in the chamber music world and orchestral world. She plays as a freelancer in various professional orchestras in The Netherlands. At the moment Julia is actively performing in the Netherlands and abroad with her family trio, Trio Rusanovsky.
Together with well-known pianist, conductor and owner of the New Amsterdam Orchestra Stephan Geusebroek, Julia is performing live-stream concerts as a piano/violin duo. She also has worked and recorded music with and for several Dutch famous singers like Marco Borsato, Waylon Bijkerk, Gordon Heuckeroth and many more. Also you can see Julia coming by on the TV in programs like Holland’s Got Talent and various tv commercials.
Julia plays on a beautiful Italian Camilli violin from 1738.
