Specialisation in Andalusian music
Adil Chaoui werd geboren in Larache, in het noorden van Marokko. Vanaf de basisschool hield hij al van muziek en studeerde voor zijn middelbare school aan het Conservatorium van Larache.
Hij nam deel aan een aantal concerten van het Institute of Music en sloot hij zich aan bij de Arabische muziekgroep Al-Tamsmani dat zich specialiseert in Andalusische muziek. Samen met Al Tamsmani trad hij op in onder meer het Mohammed V-theater in Rabat en het Koninklijk Paleis in Tanger, op uitnodiging van koning Mohammed VI.
Na zijn middelbare school ging Adil naar het onderwijscentrum van Rabat, waar hij zich specialiseerde in muziekonderwijs. Hij werd muziekdocent in Casablanca, en nam veel tv-advertenties op vanwege zijn stem. Adil blinkt uit in het uitvoeren van Arabische liedjes van alle soorten, evenals Andalusische muziek. Hij verhuisde naar Nederland en werd in 2019 aangenomen op het Conservatorium van Amsterdam om zijn opleiding als muziekdocent te vervolgen.
Adil Chaoui was born in Larache, Northern Morocco. He loved music from a very young age and attended secondary school at the Larache Conservatory.
He partook in a number of concerts at the Institute of Music and joined Arab music group Al-Tamsmani, which specialises in Andalusian music. Together with Al-Tamsmani, he performed in the Mohammed V Theatre in Rabat and at the Royal Palace in Tanger by invitation of King Mohammed VI.
After his secondary education, Adil went to college in Rabat, where he specialised in music education. He became a music teacher in Casablanca and recorded many tv ads because of his unique voice. Adil excels in performing all kinds of Arab songs as well as Andalusian music. He moved to the Netherlands, and in 2019, he was accepted to continue his education as a music teacher at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
