Laat je betoveren door de unieke klanken van ‘Maroc Baroque’! Het Marmoucha Orchestra en grootmeester van de Marokkaanse Andalusische muziek, Mohamed Amin El Akrami, slaan de handen ineen en verbinden de Andalusische klassieke muziek met de Europese barok in een modern fusion geluid.
El Akrami is de nestor van de Marokkaanse Andalusische muziek en leider van het Orchestre Temsamani de Tetuan en heeft met zijn virtuoze vioolspel en unieke creaties een blijvende impact op de muziekwereld. Hij wordt gezien als een van de belangrijkste vertegenwoordigers van de Andalusische muziek en komt samen met twee instrumentalisten uit zijn orkest naar Nederland.
Het superdiverse Marmoucha Orchestra zet zijn kenmerkende weg voort met nieuwe muziek geïnspireerd door de creatieve geest van Al-Andalus.
In dit speciale concert neemt het Marmoucha Orchestra je mee onder leiding van Mohamed Ahaddaf en Avishai Darash op een avontuurlijke reis door de geschiedenis van de Andalusische muziek en brengen ze deze in een nieuw licht. Met vernieuwende composities en verrassende arrangementen van Mohamed Ahaddaf, Avishai Darash, Maripepa Contreras en Arin Keshishi ontstaat er een moderne benadering die zorgt voor een onvergetelijke en inspirerende luisterervaring.
